We drove to the mansion and there were so many people. I thought it was a simple dinner but there's a whole huge party going inside.
" Ye ladka tera boyfriend hai kya "
( is this guy your boyfriend) dadi asked me. I turned at arjun who's smirking.
" He's my boss dadi " I hugged her and she nodded.
" You're getting old. You should get married " she said and I glared at her.
Maya takes me to meet her friends and I left arjun all alone. After that awkward talks I left to search arjun. Arjun was sitting in a corner. I sighed and he seemed so alone in this huge crowd. I also felt guilty because I left him alone when he came with me.
I sat down beside him. He looked at me and I smiled. He smiled back. And now its awkward again.
" Why are you sitting alone " I asked him.
" I was with nikhil but then he had some work and there are so many people and I dont want to let them know I'm here " he said
" We can go home " I said
" No. I'll stay here. You go and enjoy some time with them " he said.
Dada came towards us and apologized us.
" I'm so sorry. I dint knew so many people are coming. Maya's parents had invited them " he said.
" It's okay uncle we're enjoying it " arjun said.
" I know you guys are uncomfortable around people. Why don't you guys stay in garden and have some time " he said and we nodded.
I sat on the swing and arjun sat beside me. We stayed saying nothing to each other. He was dull. He was quiet. I dint know what could I do to cheer him up. He was alright till before. He really have some bad mood swings.
I got down the swing and he's staring at the empty spaces.
I was fraustated. He's messing with my mind. What's wrong with him?
I stood infront of him and he saw with so much pain in his eyes. My heart clenched seeing him.
I cupped his face making him look at me " What's wrong " I almost yelled. His hand travel on my hands and he nodded his head saying " Nothing "
I started walking around the garden.
Soon nikhil said everyone is gone.
" Lets eat dinner now " dada said
" You guys dint eat yet " arjun asked.
" How could we eat without you guys " he smiled.
We ate dinner and nikhil and arjun kept arguing about the cricket match.
While me and Maya kept discussing about the shopping.
It's a royal wedding held in one of the palace in Rajasthan. We reached home and still Arjun is quiet. He dint talk to me and directly went into his flat.
Everything is so confusing. Its better if he just gives up. And the distance is good for us. Soon I dozed into a deep slumber. I wokeup around 11am and I have no idea why I slept for so long.
I was brushing my teeth when someone furiously banged my door.
I ran towards the door and saw Rahul widely smiling.
" what " I yelled with my brush inside my mouth.
" Can't I visit you. I'm hurt " he pouted. I rolled the eyes and went inside the washroom. After washing my face I came out and saw Rahul sitting on my bed with frame in his hands.
This frame! How come everyone is finding when I hide it.
He saw me staring. He kept the frame beside and came towards me.
