Credits to Michael Faudet for this poem's idea.
When we talk long hours during the night
About certain stories from the past
Or just how our day went
Then I say, "may na-realize ako,"
I immediately narrate how I came up with it
And what the realization is about
Then we'd exchange perspectives
Subsequently, after all those times
I finally realized how
Our minds intertwine.
The fingers that touched during the 2nd of February
Could have had intertwined just like our minds
But I think that we connect more philosophically
Which flatters my heart for the first time in three years
Our minds are just full of poems and stories
Unwritten waiting to be put to text
Soon I will be writing all of them
But let me write more about you next.
Our minds are homes
Of unvoiced poetry
And my heartbeats are sheds
Of my love waiting to be freed.
