SIXTY-FIVE

the ancient romans believed that every human's body has a "vein of love."

it was called the vena amoris and supposedly ran straight to the heart.

the ancient myth says the vein was located on the fourth finger of the left hand. that is why engagement and wedding rings are typically worn on that finger due to this belief.

modern day scientists have disproven the romans conclusions, but it's still a great myth for engaged/married couples.
