~Flashback~

It was now 10 months since Sunghoon started dating Minji

He wanted her to meet his parents so he took her to his house for dinner and was planning to stay there for the night

They had a huge feast and then both of them left to Sunghoon's room

"Can I go wash up first?" Minji asked and ofcourse Sunghoon agreed and plopped on the bed with his phone

He was scrolling through his phone when he heard sounds of notifications spamming

He looked at his side to see Minji's phone getting spammed with messages

"Babe! Your phone is getting a lot of messages!" Sunghoon shouted, still on his bed

"Prolly some scam number, block that number please" he grabbed her phone after getting response from his girlfriend

He was about to block the number when he saw something really suspicious

Sunghoon started tearing up after reading those messages...The girl he loved more than anything was a gold digger...She only loved him for his wealth

Minji came out and saw Sunghoon crying with clear anger in his eyes

She noticed her phone in his hands

"Babe...?"

"Stop calling me like that! How can you just be with someone for their wealth?! Get out of my house!" he kicked her out of his house

"What's happening here?" his mother came from her room after hearing the door slam shut

Sunghoon hugged his mom and cried, his mom comforted him not knowing what was actually going on

He told about everything to his mom

After somedays, he got the news that Minji moved to Canada

Jake's POV

He told me everything...

"I'll talk to Miss. Yeji about this if you want...She might change your seats"

"Nah it's okay...I don't want anyone else to know about this..." Sunghoon said "I'll have to adjust with her for this year I guess" he said with a sad smile

"Ok then...We'll go sleep now, we have college tomorrow" I said, he nodded and went to wash his face

We went to school and everyone were giving Awkward stares to Sunghoon

He stormed out the previous day and was now trying to act like nothing happened

Our class started, Minji was sitting with Sunghoon, staring at him from time to time but he didn't even spare her a glance

Class was about to end when Yunho reminded Miss. Yeji about our weekend assignment

"So! This weekend assignment, you'll be working in pairs...You'll be pairing up with your seat partners" she announced and left the class

We couldn't tell anything so we didn't react much

All our classes were over and we were about to leave when we heard a familiar voice calling Sunghoon

We turned around to see Minji coming to us
