We've made it, we finished our journey. "We actually made it! I can't believe we made it this far." It's taken us a little over one and a half months, but it was all worth it. Thomas spoke again, "we went through hell and back, but we never stopped fighting to find our home."
"This is our new home, and we'll make it our own. No more rules, no more being watched, no more being controlled. We're free and our own people, I feel like I could scream!" Wow, she's right. We are free, we can be ourselves, this is what we've been waiting for.
If I've learned one thing, it's that I don't have to fit in the puzzle. That it's ok to be my own person, and I shouldn't change to be the person people want me to be. As long as I'm happy with myself, I'll fly above all. "Together." We all linked arms, "Together" and screamed as loud as we could.
