Timothy Reilly

Hi I'm Tim Reilly. I've been married to my wife for 36 wonderful years and have two beautiful adult daughters. After a career in international business, I decided it was time for a life change at age 47, and walked away from a successful management career path to pursue a masters degree in secondary education, which led to a wonderfully rewarding 12 year career teaching marketing at Naugatuck High School in Connecticut. 

Those years teaching allowed me to expand my family to included the most wonderful children imaginable, from every walk of life and socioeconomic situation. Though as of last June I'm now "retired" (in many people's minds but never mind), I continue my relationships with them and cherish what each of them gave back to me as I taught and advised them in the most impressionable years of their lives.

Simultaneously, during the past nine years I have also had the most incredible experience with my father, as we navigated the landscape of medical professionals and traveled down highways and through the air to places new and old. Along the way, the trips, whether over periods of days or hours, would always include a meal and a beer or glass of wine.

That experience has been journaled and soon I hope to publish our account in a warm, touching and funny look at what life can be if you set your sights on awaiting horizons. This journey happened out of necessity and love for my father, but my final reward would be the transition of Dad from father to best friend.
