I've been trying to focus on my writing much more of late. I completed NaNoWriMo (in 2017), and I've been searching for ideas that really call to me so that I can compel my readers to stay with me through 100,000 words. I started to write back in the early 2000s which dates me somewhat, I suppose. I'm a fan of science fiction and fantasy stories, but I also love a good whodunnit. I love the work of Tolkien (his books not the Peter Jackson travesties), and Asimov. If you get a chance to read the 'Relativity of Wrong' you'll not regret it. I work in the field of science but mostly with computers, which I guess puts me in the 'geek' category. Oh yes: I love the George Lucas Star Wars moves. Well. The first three. Not much science in there, but plenty of fantasy! I'm not very good at the work and life balance that is supposed to be healthy for you - always had a bit of an imbalance, but I am trying as I age gracefully into a sixth decade to correct that. This year (2021) will be the first time I let the general public loose on my offerings. Editors have raked me over the coals in the past, and I've had my quota of rejections so please.. be gentle with me and I will try and keep to schedule. Enjoy!
