Taylor Carrie Scot is moving to a new city. Her parents got big time jobs, and they are very, very busy. She's an only child, no nanny, no toys, nothing. She has a hard time making friends, yada, yada... after some weeks, during P.E, which Taylor really, very loves, she's doing rock climbing, when a boy her age scares her and she falls. (WITH NO SAFETY) Then VERY later on in the story, Taylor hits her head on a rock and gets a major concussion. She's rushed to the hospital with no wait. She's there for days, weeks, months, almost even a year. But each day of those months, her parents didn't even visit her. They had no intention of doing it either. When Taylor finally wakes up, she's seen in a hospital bed, and met with a doctor that looked like she was in her mid-forties. Taylor quickly asks what happened and starts hyperventilating, as per usual. The doctor quickly reassures her that she is fine and that she fell and hit a rock, had a concussion, and was in an eight month coma. Of course, Taylor freaks out and asks for her parents. The doctor looks down and said they weren't there. They were never there. Taylor's face is met with shock. Her parents weren't even there when she had a coma? When she was rushed to the hospital? Taylor fumes. She came up with a plan for revenge. Surprisingly, she didn't end up with amnesia or any side effects from the coma, and was free to leave the next day. But that wasn't her plan... Soon after, she realizes that there is something seriously wrong with her life, and she wants to find out what it is. (At some point, I do different points of view.)
the story is awful and horribly written but gets better!!!!!!
