Andrew Matthews is only seventeen years old when he gains international fame as a soccer player. Three years forward and he is living the big life. With everything going great, he barely has time for family and home. But then, his life takes a major u-turn when he crashes his car while drunk and ends up getting sent home by his coach and manager. As if its not enough that he has to face his dad, but Drew also finds the girl he spent most of his school life bullying, in his house. Only now, she's a duck turned swan and seems to find his very existence annoying, which doesn't work well with Drew who is used to being treated like he's God's gift to the world. And suddenly, the torture of being sent home doesn't seem so torturous anymore and Drew is quickly learning things he never knew (like how his grandma was a cheerleader) and things he's never realised, like the depth of family bonds and love.
