During the approach to Marigny, William Pierson was separated from main platoon when one of buildings collapsed. Building was destroyed from the fact that an enemy fighter airplane crashed into it, at full speed. Duringpassing the way through city quarters, to his platoon, he came to dilapidated old chapel, where he found aviatress, worse, a Nazi, who landed unsuccessfully. A leg injury, and unexpected help from her, the enemy, will be the starting point for both of them. By chance, Sergeant William Pierson was forced to save her. This lady cause a long and forgotten feeling in him - a nessesary to protect. Girl absolutely disserent from her former compatriots - kinder, softer, doesn't adhere to Nazism. Sergeant is involuntarily forced to help her and next, in view of her injuries and gradually developing personal sympathy. But the plane crash in Marigny for Pierson and this aviatress was only the beginning, putting them on a long and difficult path through the horrors of World War II...
