Chapter 33 ( Engagement )

Y/N pov :

I was getting ready for engagement in my royal blue gown gifted by damien only, I wear diamond earrings and necklace that my mother's last belonging left to me. I wear royal blue heels, then preparing my hairs with with fancy braid also putting small pearl beads in between decorating the braid. I did light makeup....and I was done, its already 6:30pm of evening and engagement will start on 8:00pm. I have a lot time till then....I was so happy and excited too, I was sitting when Jessi come in room hugging me "Congratulations Y/N" Jessi said "Thank you" I smiled as she step back "My my...you look gorgeous, I swear tonight damien won't be able to take his eyes off you" she said as I laugh lightly "Now go and get ready, you already arrive late" I said as she nodded and left. I look at clock again its 6:38pm, engagement have still sometime but we do have to reach engagement hall at 7:15 to attend guests, Ed and Damien's uncle Henry are already there checking on arrangements. Later at 7:00pm we get in cars driving towards engagement hall. I get in a room since I will be out of room when engagement will have to start, I was sitting there with Jessi, Jacob and Irene while Lorraine was with Ed during some work but she told me that she will return before engagement will start since one hour is left in engagement.... I was chatting with Jessi and Irene...

Lorraine pov :

I was so stressed with that Monk's vision that we decided to ask people about him. Ed stop car infront an sketch artist as we ask them to draw a sketch of that monk according to how I see him, after drawing that sketch we pay artist his fees. Then we grab sketch and look at watch its 7:35pm, I sigh "Ed we have to hurry" I said "Don't worry we will find that monk and get in engagement on time too" Ed said driving towards Buddha temple, We have inside asking monks about that monk. One monk said "This is Monk Tenzai" he said as we both sigh in relief then I asked "Where can we find him?..." He pinch his nose bridge then reply "Well, it will be difficult to find him since on these months Senior monks were gone from temples and shrines of all holy places cross the world" he said "Then do you know where to find him?..." Ed asked "Well, I don't know but yes Monk Shinzu can tell you this" he said "And where is Monk Shinzu?" I asked "Well there is a Buddha temple at distance of 29km away from here, There you can find Monk Shinzu" he reply as I look at watch "I don't think we have much to go there and find Monk Shinzu... We have to go in engagement also" I said "Well, Judy can do this work for us. She is at hostel for studies but I hope she can manage to do this work" Ed said as I nodded as We head towards car driving towards engagement hall. Later evening, Engagement begins as Damien was already standing near altar and Y/N enters in hall...she looks so pretty, Damien was smiling while looking at Y/N but there was something wrong in his eyes...his eyes were now burning reddish yellow like same...as Janet's when he was possessed by Valak but no it can't be...Irene said that Valak was now gone and will never return back..so how it can be possible now meeting the monk seems more than just word 'necessary' because I have gut feeling that something is much more than just wrong; I turn my head towards Irene and...yes she also noticed those eyes that our senses is taking as danger. Y/N was look down or at everyone so she was not noticing those eyes of damien but Irene and I saw those eyes. Y/N stand infront damien as his eyes were now normal...something is definitely wrong with him and just one more sign...then it will be confirmed that danger that holds lily...is now holding Damien... We have to meet Monk as soon as possible
